Get Your Site Indexed in Just One Hour

I’m constantly seeing posts in different forums asking how to quickly get your website indexed in Google and the other search engines. I’ve seen this so much that I decided I would help everyone out be writing up an instructional report on how to get your website indexed in as little as one hour. Yes, it can be done. No, it’s not hard.

In fact, it’s such an easy process that this is going to be one of the shortest reports you’ve read lately. No reason to take up space and waste your time with pointless dribble. So here we go…

1) First of all, ping your site. I prefer using . This is a free website and it pings close to 100 places. All you have to do is put in the name of your website (I use a title with the keyword or phrase), add the URL, choose a topic (this is optional), enter the captcha and hit ping.

2) Log in to Twitter and create a tweet with your full URL in it (don’t use an URL shortener). Google crawls Twitter like crazy. Just because you won’t get a backlink from this doesn’t mean you should avoid it. The main thing we are trying to do is to get the search engine spiders to your site.

3) Create a account and install the toolbar button. Once you have the Clipmarks button installed in your browser, go to your new website and hit the Clipmarks button. Select whatever text from your site that you want (I believe it has to be under 1000 characters total). I usually try to select a clip of text that actually contains a link to the site I want indexed. An example: If it’s a blog post I want indexed, I will go to the page of the category instead of the actual blog post URL. This way I can clipmark the title of the new blog post (which of course contains the URL that I want indexed). Another benefit of this method is that your Clipmarks clipping will also rank very high in the search engines. It’s not uncommon for one of my clippings to actually outrank my site, but that’s okay because that listing contains my URL.

4) Create an account with This is such a powerful method and I NEVER hear anyone talking about it. When filling out your profile, make sure you put your new URL that you want indexed in as your homepage. Next, go to the Groups page and join the most popular groups that it has listed (Linux, Python, Twitter Fails, etc). After you join a group, view the members and you will see your profile name at the top of the list along with your URL. Copy the URL of this member’s page and go back to (or any pinging service), and ping that member’s page URL. Do this for all the popular groups. You can do this for additional groups too if you’d like, as is DoFollow. I believe you can join up to 25 groups at first, so you can do just that if you’d like.

And that’s all there is to it. These sites get spidered so often that just getting your link on there and pinging to make the spiders make notice is all you need to do to get your site indexed. It’s so simple. Once you’ve done this one time, it will only take you a few minutes to do it from now on.

Just do these four steps and watch how fast your site gets indexed in Google.
